ABOUT US

Compatior is an outpatient treatment center providing individualized Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services to youth and adults. Our Intensive outpatient services are provided to clients in accordance with their individualized treatment needs. This program component includes a planned regimen of treatment. Intensive outpatient treatment is designed to deliver alcohol and drug-free service to enhance a client’s ability to move toward long-term recovery.
Our Outpatient services focus on providing evidence-based Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. This includes the following:

  • Educational Sessions
  • Case Management
  • Social/recreational Activities
  • Family Education and Parenting
  • Crisis Intervention (When Required)
  • Relapse Prevention Planning
  • Individual and Group Counseling Sessions
    Case management services to assist with obtaining services such as health care services, employment assistance, legal advocacy, social services, vocational services, and other community services.

    • To improve mood and affect in daily living.
    • To improve social, familial, and social adjustment and integration.
    • To improve the client’s quality of life by providing them with counseling services that are tailored to their individual needs.
    • Teach clients that active involvement in a recovery program can aid in building trust in others and confidence in himself/herself.
    • To reduce the need for a higher level of care and to decrease recidivism rates.
    • Review problematic circumstances in the client’s life, which could be turned over to a higher power to increase serenity.
    • Incorporate the use of modeling, behavior rehearsal, and role-playing to teach the client healthy assertive skills. Assist the clients in applying these skills to several current problem situations.
    • Educate the clients about healthy interpersonal relationships based on openness, respect, and honesty while educating clients on healthy ways to explain the necessity of sharing feelings to build trust and mutual understanding.

    About the California Department of

    Healthcare Services

    The Substance Use Disorder Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services Division directs statewide prevention and treatment programs that address the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs (AOD). Its core functions include developing and implementing AOD prevention strategies, reviewing and approving county AOD treatment program contracts, and granting applications submitted for state and federal funds for AOD services.
    The Substance Use Disorder Compliance Division focuses on compliance with State and Federal statutes, regulations, and other governing requirements. The Division oversees the licensing and certification functions, monitoring, and complaints for Driving Under the Influence Programs, Drug Medi-Cal, Narcotic Treatment Programs, and outpatient and residential providers. The Division also ensures compliance with the statewide criminal justice treatment programs and counselor certification.
